Directions:
From I5 in Redding take the Oasis road exit heading west. At the Lake Blvd intersection, head straight across the road, which becomes Walker Mine road.
Head down the road for another 2 or 3 miles to the trailhead.
The Trail:
To get to the start of the trail ride back up the road about a mile. The Lower Sacramento Ditch trail is marked to your right. This is an easy one to follow because
all intersections are marked. The trail ends about 2.75 miles into Hornbeck. From there you can ride back up Hornbeck to the Walker Mine trailhead.
